Research

All Departments of the institute are engaged in various research activities. Departments also carry our collaborative researches with other Institutes e.g. Saha institute of Nuclear Physics, Indian institute of Chemical Biology, Indian Statistical institute of Hygiene & Public Health, Kolkata, National Brain Research Institute, Gurgaon, various Departments of University of Calcutta namely Psychology, Genetics, Linguistics, etc. The institute gets financial help from various Government agencies for research activities.
